NOW & COMP Waivers — Participant Direction in Georgia

The NOW and COMP waivers, run by Georgia's Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With participant direction, the person or their representative hires their own staff. A family member who is not legally responsible can be paid with DBHDD approval; spouses, parents of minors and legal guardians cannot.
